I am a proud husband and the father of three daughters. After becoming a Board-certified General Surgeon, I completed a dual fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery, developing a strong interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques utilizing robotics to conduct multi-port and single incision procedures. That was followed by a one-year master's degrees in advanced surgical endoscopy at the University of Strasbourg in France. I am also a passionate educator and collaborator who gets satisfaction by actively participating in clinical, teaching and research programs as well as performing surgery. I have achieved favorable outcomes with a complication rate of less than 2% during 500+ robotic abdominal cases, with a conversion rate to invasive surgery of less than 1%. Professionally, my goal is to continue contributing to advances in hernia and GI surgery, teaching trainees, and conducting clinical research to further developments in minimally invasive surgery.
