Dr. Mohammed primarily practices at Central DuPage Hospital and CDH Proton Center, A ProCure Center. He is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology. He is a native of Chicago and is eager to provide compassionate cutting edge cancer care to the Chicagoland community. Dr. Mohammed completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois where he graduated with University Honors. He earned an M.B.A. prior to starting medical school at the the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. There, he graduated with Magna Cum Laude distinction and was awarded membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. He was recruited to William Beaumont Hospital for his intership and residency in Radiation Oncology. There, Dr. Mohammed became experienced in brachytherapy, stereotatic radiosurgery and image-guided radiotherapy. He has conducted research, made national and international scientific presentation and published scholarly articles pertaining to the treatment techniques and outcomes for lung, head & neck, prostate and central nervous system tumors.
In his free time, Dr. Mohammed enjouys spending time with his family and friends. He is a sport enthusiast and enjoys time outdoors.
When asked why he chose Radiation Oncology, he states, "As a radiation oncologist, I have the opportunity to use cutting edge technology and science belneded with compassionate patient care to improve both the clinical and social outcomes for patients. For me, this is a deeply humbling and intensely fulfilling experience."
