Ericka Ortiz is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor(LCPC) who specializes in working with adolescents, young adults and adults. She has expertise working with patients with eating disorders self-injurious behavior, mood disorders and anxiety disorders. Her clinical approach utilizes a collaboration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Her clinical approach works to empower the patient to learn mood stabilization, regulation of emotions, modifying unhealthy patterns of behavior, as well as negative thought processes.Her focus is to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment for clients.
