Dr. Park was a professional photographer prior to attending medical school and enjoys taking photographs of her husband and 3 children.
When asked why she chose radiation oncology, she states, "A cancer diagnoisis is a difficult time in patient's lives and allows us as physicians to make a real impact during this critical period. It provides me the opportuity to teach patients about their disease and improve their quality of life both during and after treatment. Oncologists form special bonds with their patients, which I find extremely gratifying."
